At Alkimos Baptist College, students selected for the Robotics Engineering Program will be immersed in a team of focused students who will spend four years actively delving into the world of Robotics.

The Robotics Engineering Program will teach students:

• Circuitry and Electronics
• Computer and RoboticsProgramming
• Design and Construction
• Remote Control and Artificial Intelligence Robotics

The College’s Program will offer students:

• 6 periods of Roboticsper week during school time

• Opportunity for teamwork and individualised education in Robotics

• Opportunity to be involved in Robotics competitions

Selection for the Robotics Engineering Program will be for any student in Year 6 for Year 7 and will be based on:

• Completing the Robotics Engineering Application Form

• An interview with the Principal

• Adherence to Student Management Policy

Students in Year 7, 8 and 9 who are new to the College will be able to join the program if space is available.
